Canyon Woods Residential Resort, Diokno Highway, Laurel, Batangas

Integrated resort subdivision along scenic Tagaytay Ridge designed for Tagaytay Grasslands. The project started initially as a 70-hectare residential resort offering a full range of real estate products consisting of the Campsite, Waterways and Nature Trail, Townhouses and Country Homes, Lakeview Hill, Canyon Lodge and Canyon Crest/Apartment Hotel Ridge, Forest Parks and Flower Gardens.

Canyon Woods has now grown to 310 hectares with an executive 9-hole golf course. Peninsula de Punta Fuego, Nasugbu, Batangas

Residential beach resort subdivision of Roxaco Land Corporation covering an area of 90 hectares conceptualized to fully exploit the natural topography and history of the area, its many coves and white sand beaches, and the colorful corrals and abundant marine life surrounding the peninsula.

Strategically located among the residential clusters are the village center, marina, pavilion, park, and beach club, hotel and an executive golf course occupying the center of the development. Residential lots and condominium clusters are provided with spectacular views of the horizon, sunset and the sea and easy access to the beach areas, facilities and the amenities of the resort subdivision. The resort subdivision was jointly master planned with RTKL International. Punta Fuego is the choice of Manila's most prominent and influential families.

 

 
   

Kawayan Cove, Nasugbu, Batangas

A 75-hectare resort subdivision development of the Puyat Family along a stylized Filipino architectural theme. The development master plan fully utilized the interesting contours of the land and the stunning view of the South China Sea.

The lot sizes are generous and positioned in four general view categories, mostly with cliff and coastline view, with common access to a beautiful crescent-shaped white sand beach and provided with a limited number of vertical/boutique elements to enhance overall value, such as a beach club, inland aqua park and playgrounds, standard subdivision sports facilities, lodging facilities and leisure paths. The winding main spine road hugging the rolling terrain of the resort subdivision offers a spectacular and dramatic view of the seascape and landscape as one travels along its route. Most of the forest cover were left untouched.

 
 

 

Misibis Residential Resort & Spa, Cagraray Island, Albay

Prime beachfront enclave of about 20 hectares nestled in the Pacific that boasts of a wide stretch of white sand beach and a scenic route via the 3-km Sula Channel accommodating full world class resort amenities, including beachfront cabanas, eco-tourism park, club house with infinity pool, sauna and spa, among others. The

Laeuna de Taal, Talisay, Batangas

Laeuna de Taal is a sprawling lakeside resort community in Talisay, Batangas, a quiet recreation amidst the lush mountainscape grouped into ten clusters of residential and leisure lots catering to first and second homes, most of which will be overlooking the Taal Lake and volcano.

As part of its amenities, Laeuna will have bed and breakfast casitas designed with a distinct tropical flavor, comfortable, well-spaced units to ensure absolute privacy. It will also have an organic market and artists' village. The development will be anchored on a Lake Club, which will have a main clubhouse with dining and conference facilities boardwalk, destination spa and an edge pool overlooking the lake and provided with temperate water sports such as kayaking, windsurfing and sailing.

Mambukal Mountain Resort, Mambukal, Murcia, Negros Occidental

Re-development plan of a famous 24-hectare resort on the northwest base of Mt. Kanlaon owned by the Province of Negros Occidental and originally developed by a Japanese Architect in 1927. Mambukal is distinguished by exceptionally beautiful landscape and natural attractions, which include a cool climate, thick foliage, interesting rock and clay formations, seven waterfalls and hot sulfur springs, among others.

The plan included new entrance/exit gates and guardhouses, entrance statement, landscaped lagoon, leisure trail to the first waterfalls, view decks along the way, adventure trails for the remaining six waterfalls and beyond, halfway house along the trekking trail to Kanlaon Nature Park, nature trail to the forest park, two free-form swimming pools, three swimming holes, and a therapeutic warm dipping pool fed by a nearby hot sulfur spring, a 150-meter canopy walk along a hanging bridge that winds through the forest's tallest trees, slide-for-life, an Indiana Jones-style slide along an 85-meter cable placed at a 30-degree incline, wall climbing, picnic huts and 10 modern cottages, each with four air-conditioned rooms and toilets and baths, a food court, and a spa.

             
   
 

Manuel M. Lopez Training Center, Antipolo, Rizal

Training center in a 10-hectare property master planned to hold all of Meralco's training programs under one place. The challenge was to create an overall balance between covered areas and open spaces in order to promote an environment conducive to learning based on training requirements and considerations and expected population densities. Seven zones were provided in the Center to accommodate the administration area, management cluster, recreational area, accommodation area, general employee cluster, support group cluster and technical group cluster.

   
 

Las Haciendas, Laurel, Batangas

First estate-managed farming community of Green Square Properties complementing the existing resort projects in the Metro Tagaytay-Diokno Highway area. The master design was aimed at preserving the idyllic simplicity and very rural ambience and enhancing the natural terrain and resources of the 372-hectare property, which include a waterfall and a natural spring that flows into several tributaries leading to Taal Lake. Amenities will include boutique resort club facilities.

   
 

Victoria Heights Golf Estate, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental

Proposed as the first enclave residential subdivision in the Province covering an area of 153 hectares with an 18-hole championship golf course and country club as the central focus of the development plan. Tree-lined avenues, landscaped gardens, forest parks and the golf course surrounding the residential development, including the breathtaking view of the mountains and the sea, give the community a luxuriously elegant countryside ambiance with modern amenities and conveniences. The Teves family owns Victoria Heights. The master plan was prepared in coordination with Nelson, Wright & Haworth Golf Architects, designer of the golf course.

   
 

Other resort communities

Joliville Holdings, a listed corporation at the Philippine Stock Exchange, recently signed an agreement with EGD Lopez & Partners to master plan a 12-hectare residential community in Puerto Galera, Mindoro Oriental, a popular haven for foreign and local tourists renowned for its white beaches, pristine sea and rich marine life. Planning will start by December of 2004. Also for completion by the first quarter of 2005 are The Fernwood of ALDEVINCO covering an area of 13 hectares in the cool mountains of Eden in Davao City, Davao del Sur, and the 30-hectare Porto Gualberto in San Juan, Batangas for Pueblo Niño Development, Inc.

During the last two years, the Partnership completed the master planning of the 30-hectare Mountain Haven in Eden, Davao City, Davao del Sur for Mr. Joey Lim, 60-hectare Xavier Mountain Estate in Bukidnon for A Brown Company, and the 300-hectare Filinvest East County in Antipolo, Rizal for Filinvest Land, Incorporated.

Earlier works included the 287-hectare Iligan Golf Estate in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte for Alsons Land Corporation, 12-hectare farm lot development in Lipa, Batangas, 15-hectare seaside residential resort in San Juan, Batangas, 75-hectare Manresa Golf & Country Club in Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental, an expansion project of A Brown Company to complement the Xavier Estate development designed in association with Nelson & Haworth Golf Architects, 155-hectare Lakewood City in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, the first golf estate community in the Province jointly master planned with RTKL International and Nelson, Wright & Haworth Golf Architects for NE Land Corporation, and 300-hectare Costa de Madera Golf Plantation in San Juan, Batangas, a golf, plantation and seaside resort community planned in corroboration with RTK International and Graham Marsh Golf Architects.
